The event encourages collegiate women of color to reflect on their own experiences, challenge their limits, and cultivate their own legacies.

The conference is designed as a tribute to women of color who have triumphed over adversity and defied societal expectations. The conference aims to be a powerful celebration of the resilience, achievements and ongoing journeys of women of color,while recognizing the essential role of allies in supporting these efforts.. This event honors the rich history and evolving presence of WOC, shining a light on the trailblazers who have paved the way and those continuing to break new ground today. Through dynamic keynote speeches, insightful panel discussions, and interactive workshops, A Legacy of Her: Embracing Past and Present WOC creates a space for women of color to connect, recognize, and empower each other.
