WHO IS THE ORGANIZER?

The 36th Annual Conference: Breaking Barrier is brought to you by the Women of Color Conference Committee. Go to the "Meet our Conference Committee" section to learn more.

WHAT IS THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE?

This one-day event typically consists of a keynote speaker panelist discussion, and interactive workshops. This year we have added live entertainment and a lunch. This will ultimately be a chance to foster community amongst All women of color.

WHEN IS THE 36th ANNUAL CONFERENCE?

The 36th Annual Conference is a one-day event taking place on Sundayday, March 30th, 2024  from noon - 4:00pm  pm in the Illini Union Ballroom 200.

WHERE IS THE 34th ANNUAL CONFERENCE?

This event has returned in-person at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. The Illini Union is located at 1401 W. Green Street, Urbana, IL, 61801. Ballroom 200 is located on the 2nd Floor in the Illini Union on the North side. 

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO THIS EVENT?

The dress code is semi-formal or business casual.

DO I HAVE TO PURCHASE TICKETS TO ATTEND, HOW DO I ATTEND?

The 35th Annual Conference is a free event to the public. Registration is required to attend this event and registrants will be admitted on a first-come first served basis. Tickets are limited to ONE per registrant.

DO I HAVE TO BE AFFILIATED WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS TO ATTEND?

No, we encourage everyone to join us for this impactful event. Attendees should bring student ID/State ID for admission.

"OMG, I DIDN'T REGISTER! CAN I COME THE DAY OF?"

Women of Color strongly recommends to register for this event as we cannot guarantee door admission.
